This charming mug features a detailed illustration of one of Kylemore Abbey’s peaceful Connemara ponies, taken from the original paintings of Mother Karol O’Connell OSB. A talented artist, Mother Karol is also one of the longest-serving members of the Benedictine Community at Kylemore and is nationally known for her work as a music and piano teacher. Since the arrival of the pony herd in 2019, she has developed a deep connection with the animals—knowing each one by name and nature. Her love for them shines through in this beautifully designed tableware collection.
