Part of a charming tableware collection, this mug features two of Kylemore Abbey’s peaceful Connemara mares grazing beside their foals in the Pony Paddock. The artwork is inspired by the beloved herd that has lived at Kylemore since 2019.
Based on original paintings by Mother Karol O’Connell OSB—one of the longest-serving members of the Benedictine Community and a nationally recognised music teacher—this design reflects her deep bond with the ponies she knows so well. Her artistic talent brings the gentle spirit of these animals to life in a beautiful and meaningful piece.
